The first ever INDIA FASHION WEEK USA will be coming soon to the beautiful Downtown/Art District of Miami. The force behind the week featuring the elite, high quality affair has been dedicated to creating opportunities that increases the viability and visibility of the Indian fashion in USA. The series of fashion related events around the country will serve as a platform for Indian designers, both established industry professionals and aspiring newcomers.
The annual celebration of Indian style featuring a great wealth of talent is uniquely designed to engage Indian fashion directly at the grassroots level of US market-- cultivating Indian fashion as an integral part of the American lifestyle.
The Premier Designers will showcase a rich blend of Indian fabrics, designs, creativity and talent to the well known buyers, media, celebrities from both the countries as well as fashion followers from a variety of background all this within glamorous India Fashion Week USA. And on lighter side, the after party will be held at the elite nightclub of Miami at close proximity of the event.
The focus is mainly considering the US mainstream market looking out for a different design and also the vast population of Indians in USA. Accessibility and diversity in programming will allow the public to engage the week on many levels; experiencing a show, taking in an exhibit, participating in Indian fashion awareness which has tremendous potential or just joining in the festivities of an exciting event. The week will also contribute to a sense of civic pride about what India has to offer and how it continues to evolve. Percentage of revenue will be gifted towards the education of unprivileged children in India through the organization PRATHAM, which has made a difference in creating a stronger educational foundation.
